Maine.. Day 3

Blueberry waffles with Jo Ann’s parents, Jo Ann and I left for up north, Freeport, Bowdoin, (Burnett House, Baxter House, new student center, chapel, the quad, art museum steps, Coles Tower, library, few other things to see and reminisce…) back in the car for farther north, looooong beautiful drive, past many cool-looking towns and sites (including Portland, Harpswell/Orr’s Island, Belfast, Castine, Blue Hill…. ), finally made it to Acadia National Park area… to the Open Hearth Inn in Trenton. Hungry, walked across busy intersection to get some supper–confused about lobster prices, first told “$4.95/lb” then told, “$40/lb”, little bit of a difference!, brought dinner back to room at Open Hearth…
